Rogue Usa Olympic Plate
Continuing Our Mission To Bring Quality Cast Iron Plate Production Back To America, Rogue’S Usa Olympic Plates Are, In Our Opinion, The Finest Series We’Ve Ever Developed. Each Plate, From The 55Lb Increment Down To The 0.25Lb Change Plate, Features A Slim Profile, Durable E-Coat Finish, And A Unique 4-Surface Machining Process That Ensures It Fits Securely On The Bar, Is Uniform In Diameter, And Sits Flush Against Other Plates When Loaded.
For The Casting Of The Usa Oly Plates We Have Once Again Partnered With Two Of The Midwest’S Most Experienced And Well-Equipped Foundries: Cadillac Casting (Of Cadillac, Michigan) And Osco Industries (Of Portsmouth, Ohio). All 55Lb, 45Lb, 35Lb, 25Lb, And 10Lb Plates Are Cast By The Cadillac Team Using Ductile Iron, Which Has Excellent Tensile Strength And Yield Strength, Along With Superior Corrosion Resistance. The Narrow Design, Commonly Seen With Powerlifting Plates, Allows For More Loading Potential On The Bar, And The Extremely High Quality Of Casting Results In Crisp Detailing And A Clear Separation Between The Embossed Rogue Branding, Weight Indications, And “Made In The Usa” Lettering.
The Smaller Change Plates (5Lb, 2.5Lb, 1Lb, 0.5Lb, 0.25Lb) And Are All Cast At The Osco Foundry From Class 30 Grey Iron. They Feature The Same 4-Surface Precision Machining As The Larger Plates, As Well As The Same Firm Weight Tolerance Of +2% / -0%.
The Electrically Applied E-Coat Finish Used On All Rogue Usa Olympic Plates Goes On Thinner Than A Traditional Powder Coat, Allowing For A Lustrous Finish Without Losing The Underlying Texture Of The Casting. E-Coat Is Also Known For Its Excellent Adhesion, Even Coverage, And Overall Toughness.
